Nowadays 70 percent of YouTube YouTube views come from mobile devices. The first video that hit one million views was the advert featuring Ronaldinho.

Around 16 percent of YouTube traffic is from the United States. Despite the popularity of the English language, only 35 percent of the content on YouTube is in English. Successful YouTube channels contain good content, so being famous does not mean that your videos can be successful on YouTube.

T-Series - 170 million subscribers

T-Series is an Indian YouTube channel that focuses on music videos. The channel posts multiple videos per day. The channel is run by an entertainment company. Now it is the fastest-growing channel. They joined YouTube in 2006 and now they show music videos and film trailers. The channel also includes other multi-channel networks with 29channels. About 40 percent of the channel’s traffic comes from outside India. 12 percent of the traffic comes from the United States.

PewDiePie - 108 million subscribers

PewDiePie is the second most-subscribed YouTube channel. The owner of the channel is Felix Kjellberg who became famous for playing and reacting on camera too - scary video games. He became a celebrity and not a famous person. He made vlogs, commentary, and comedy videos. However, in 2017 he lost his premium YouTube show and several business deals when Wall Street Journal highlighted Nazi jokes on his channel. Felix Kjellberg is 31 and lives in England. He dropped out of Chalmers University to pursue his new YouTube career. In 2012 he had already gained 1 million subscribers. He supported himself and his channel by selling hot dogs. The name of the channel was ''PewDie’’ but after losing the password he registered as PewDiePie. ''Pew’’ is from the sound of a laser gun and ''die’’ meant the laser shot killed. F. Kjellberg donates to charities such as St Jude Children’s Hospital and the World Wildlife Fund. The fans of PewDiePie are called Bros.

Cocomelon - 104 million subscribers

Cocomelon is an American YouTube channel and streaming media show. It specializes in 3D animation videos. Now it is the most-viewed YouTube channel in the United States and the most-subscribed children’s channel in the world.

The videos include children, adults, and animals. Initially, the channel was created for educational purposes but, uploading the first video which was an alphabet song, changed their path.  After 9  years they reached 1 million subscribers in 2016.

Set India - 94,8 million subscribers

Set Entertainment Television is an Indian Hindi-language entertainment television owned by Sony Pictures Network in India. It is amongst the largest producers and aggregators of Hindi programming in the world, with an extensive library housing over 222,000 hours of television content along with a strong presence in over 171 countries and a total viewership of 1 Billion plus people around the globe.

Kids Diana Show - 73,7 million subscribers

It is a YouTube Channel featuring a girl Diana playing with her family and friends. The first video focuses on children’s songs, learning English, reviewing toys, and vlogging. The most-watched video on this channel is ''Diana and her Barbie Car-Camping Adventure’’ which has over 1 billion views. Now it is the most-subscribed channel from Ukraine. According to the estimation of Business Insider in 2019 the channel annually earns from 28 million dollars to 44,7 million dollars.

WWE or World Wrestling Entertainment - 72,6 million subscribers

The main company is located in Stanford, with offices in New York, Los Angeles, London, Mexico City, Mumbai, Shanghai, Singapore, Dubai, Munich, and Tokyo. The channel is in 5th place on YouTube. WWE has expanded itself into other fields including movies, football, and business ventures. It has an entertainment-based performance theater that is scripted. It includes moves that can put performers at risk of injury or even death if it is not performed correctly. The company classifies its professional wrestlers as independent contractors and not employees.

5-Minute Crafts - 70,7 million subscribers

5-Minute Crafts is a Do It Yourself-style YouTube channel owned by TheSoul Publishing. The company is in Cyprus. The videos are related to crafts and life hacks. Only the hands of a person appear in the frame. The company founded its YouTube channel in March 2017. According to an article published by Mic in June 2017, 5-Minute Crafts was considered a channel with over 4 million subscribers.

In 2018 Vox wrote that the channel was ''widely-successful’’. During one week the channel received over 238 million video views. Now they have an English channel on Pinterest.

Like Nastya - 68,4 million subscribers

The channel is also known as Nastya who is a Russian YouTuber. In 2015 Nastya’s parents sold their beauty salon and construction company to create the YouTube channel. Initially, they presented toy unboxing videos, but then they started to visit amusement parks in other countries and show them. In the first 7 months, they visited 6 countries. They spent around 1-1,5 million Russian rubles per month.

The channel is also dubbed into other languages such as German, Arabic, Bangla, French, and Arabic. Now they have moved to the United States.

Zee Music Company - 68,2 million subscribers

The company was launched in 2014. It is an Indian music company. The company invests more than 50 percent of new Bollywood music.

Canal KondZilla - 63,1 million subscribers

The founder of the channel is a Brazilian screenwriter Konrad Dantas. He has directed over 300 music videos. One of his works was nominated for the best music video 2015 at the Multishow Awards with “Tombei” from Karol Conka.
